THIS WAY UP a program is run by clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, researchers, and web technicians based at the Clinical Research Unit for Anxiety and Depression.

They created tailored programs for people to access crucial mental health programs from the comfort of their smart phone, but they needed a hand communicating what mental health struggles may feel like to people who aren’t sure how to tackle big feelings just yet.

We created and wrote these films to speak in lay(wo)man’s terms about what mental health struggles can feel like and how they can be addressed, without clinical parlance or jargon.

As someone with anxiety and depression who has sought help, this project was extremely close to my heart.
