ASICS — 2022

ASICS Australia needed two things: an ad to publicise their brand new, top-of-the-line cricket gear, and to get sports fans and players alike excited for another cracking season of the game. 

Building on the theme of anticipation, I conceptualised and wrote a script that used sound design to build excitement as the film progresses. Featuring professional players like Mitchell Starc and using the sounds of summer — cheers, clapping, the marking of sand, and yes, ambience from a great game of cricket, we ended up with a spot that played across social and on TV.
